The creation of this game is based on the popular trilogy of the same name.
Evil dead regeneration Pc#
After finishing the final copy of the game, we're happy to report improved framerates. In order for this table to properly work :ĪLWAYS USE THE LATEST VERSION OF Cheat Engine ! While the Evil Dead based games of the past have fizzled and flopped, Regeneration actually showed promise. Transition between "Numpad 2" and "Numpad 3" won't require to disable one cheat for another, just switch between these options as much as you want! Having " Ash/Sam Health" enabled during any boss fight, will minimize any boss health (for easy fights), then enable " Ash/- Health" and do your thing! In your gameplay, there's a reason why i made them with "hotkeys", in any boss fights (there's 5 bosses) only use " Ash/- Health", in rest use " Ash/Sam Health".Ash, with whatever option selected can't die no matter what.Sam, will explode or die in any trap involved (if the sequence is required) Sam is fragile to explosion hits and explosive enemies (he will die, if you'll encounter this case, disable your activated cheat and try to kill him) other than that, Sam, won't die in combat (with other enemies) if " Ash/Sam Health" is enabled. Another move cuts Deadites in half with a single swipe, and there are jump attacks and rolling ground-based moves, too.In any of those two health scripts you can modify the initial value, meaning "(int)100" into, for example, "(int)150" same thing you can modfy for rage, change "(float)100" into, "(float)125".All this thingy with changing, is by finding any upgrades in your gameplay, only for visual, you can modify or not. There are moves to throw out a chainsaw upper cut, or a solid slice followed with a skull-shattering headshot. That's the cue to move in and pop a fatality. Once the Shambling dead have been taken down a peg or two, they'll start to bleed a green vapor. A face button is dedicated to each hand, so that players can reel off combos, hacking up enemies with the chainsaw and punctuating their efforts with a cordite blast. With a chainsaw strapped to one wrist and a collection of firearms in his other fist, Ash is the best-outfitted Deadite killer we know. Levels are broken up by plentiful cutscenes, but Bruce Campbell's likeness has been stunningly re-created, so the best scenes are like watching the man in action.īesides his wisecracks and charming good looks, Ash's signature is a double-barreled combo.
Evil dead regeneration movie#
The layout of the game is linear and story-based, with Ash not only trying to clear his name and gain a little well-deserved freedom, but also trying to figure out what's up with the demented German quack who's running the Sunny Meadows home for really screwed-up movie heroes. Ever wanted to blast that damned laughing lamp in Evil Dead 2? Just pick up the shotgun.
Evil dead regeneration series#
That's a much better setup than anything we've seen in the series to date, and players even get to play a few events from the first two Evil Dead movies in flashback. After being popped for taking out all his friends (the authorities don't believe they were zombies) we find Ash confined to the Sunny Meadows insane asylum, where his first task is to get the hell out.
Evil Dead Regeneration is basically a game where you kill the undead (the undead take several forms). There is one before this called Evil Dead Fistful of Boomstick (a Boomstick is a shotgun). The game picks up right after the events seen in the first two films, in which Ash tangled with his friends turned zombies by the Book of the Dead, though it dispenses with all that 'thrown into the past' nonsense at the end of the second film. Id never heard of Evil Dead until I got this game. The first big difference between Regeneration and past Evil Dead titles is the storyline. But with a beloved film franchise to build on and zombies to kill, Evil Dead Regeneration hopes to live up to its auspicious title. His alter ego Bruce Campbell's voice may be ubiquitous in the gaming world, but making Ash come to life has proved to be a tougher task than getting kids to buy a GameCube. Just ask Ash, hero of the Evil Dead flicks. The transition from movies to games is never easy.
